Who are we?

Ex Monarch is a Miami based alternative hard rock band, taking inspiration from the 90’s alt/grunge era bands like Deftones, Alice in Chains, and Garbage as well as early 2000’s rock bands like Paramore and Evanescence. Originating from University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, Ex Monarch brings passion and professionalism to every show they play. The band was created when guitarist Eli Yaroch met front-woman and lead singer Amanda Pasler and immediately meshed with her writing and lyricism. After assembling fellow Frost students Jake Sonderman, George Staton, and Saidy Burch, Ex Monarch released their first LP "Whatever You See Look Again". In anticipation of their debut album, they released three singles: Amelia, Hypoxia and Burn. They've since released the single Art of Detachment and Take a Moment.
